Creating just the right light is one of the greatest challenges a photographer will face. If we measure our eyes as seeing 100 tones from black to white, a camera can only capture 4 consecutive measurements of those tones. Through old camera techniques, remarkable light capturing technology and archival printing methods, Michael James Slattery Jr., creates these "Luminous Views" that captivate the dynamic range of our minds eye and celebrate the light in our surroundings.
